In 2007, the Seoul Institute of the Arts founded the Art and Technology Center (ATEC) to create projects that apply cutting-edge technologies to art-making. The center's multi-dimensional space contains studios that are equipped with the latest multimedia technologies that allow for video, sound, music, exhibition, and performance to collaborate, circulate, and integrate.

At ATEC, we strive to provide specialized education in the digital contents fields and education that combines two or more genres. Through research and production with some of the leading educational institutions, industrial companies, and artists, we will fulfill our institute's founding doctrine of developing our traditional arts to the global level.
