Arts Management Program (Theatre/Film/Broadcasting)
The Arts Management Program was created in 2003 in conjunction with the Theatre, Film, and Broadcasting majors to nurture capable arts managers who can contribute to Korea’s cultural industry.
Arts managers are the partners of artists as they support artists’ creative activities. Acting majors, on the other hand, take the professional training necessary to serve as cultural catalysts for the cultural experience of the general public.
They explore the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to become art curators and producers and nurture the abilities to apply the theories of Arts Management. They also cooperate with other genres of art to acquire the ability to train professional actors/actresses. The courses include theoretical lectures programmed to improve their aesthetic insights and the fundamentals of Business Administration and field training needed for their roles as planners, strategists, and coordinators.
