SeoulArts MFA program
The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program at Seoul Institute of the Arts is a professional graduate degree focused on artistic creation through works and projects, rather than a traditional thesis-oriented academic program. The program adopts a production-based educational model aligned with the language and rhythm of real-world artistic practice, offering a practice- and creation-centered curriculum in which students grow through hands-on creation, performances, exhibitions, and media production.
The SeoulArts MFA program is designed for creators working at the intersection of performing arts, media, immersive content, and interdisciplinary arts, where art meets technology. The program spans a wide range of artistic fields and provides interdisciplinary creative education that explores new forms of expression.
A key component of the program is X-Lab (Art & Technology Expression Laboratory), an education, research, and administrative platform dedicated to experimental creation that integrates art and technology. Through X-Lab, students are supported in collaborative projects that lead to tangible outcomes such as live performances, exhibitions, and media content.
