The Photography Program fosters student artists who can contribute to arts and
culture and the development of the industry by presenting a view of the world that
is unique to Korea’s traditions. A photographer must possess a solid vision as well as
technological expertise. In addition, a photographer must bear the capabilities to be
a driving force in the information age of the 21st century. Cultivate emerging artists
who possess a wealth of imagination and skills that utilize new media technologies
that will integrate art, science and technology for the global stage.
The Photography Program aims to foster student artists who will possess the
practical ability to work across disciplines by deepening one’s understanding of
photography and extending the knowledge to design, moving image, new technology,
and planning. The program establishes a network with companies, institutions, and
experts who of the field of photography, culture, art, and industry, and develops
coordinated education and collaboration projects to hone students' practical job
skills required by the industry.
