In 2007, Seoul Institute of the Arts established the Art and Technology Education Center (ATEC) where art and technology converge. The center encourages students, faculty and artists to explore original methods of expression as part of an effort to introduce an innovative paradigm in art creation. ATEC is equipped with creative research labs, cutting-edge studios, and a multi-dimensional space with multimedia equipment where talented students receive a variety of digital cultural contents education.
ATEC implements in-depth education of digital cultural contents, collaborative education with relevant art fields. Through exchanges with global leaders of education and experts of the industry, Seoul Institute of the Arts seeks to preserve the traditions of our culture and explore new forms of expression through technology, which are the educational goals of the institute.
