Reinforcement of the educational capability of professors starts from
passion for education by professors. The goal is to reinforce the educational capability of each professor as well as support individual departments to realize better education through lectures regardless of major. Another objective is to build an attitude of improving the quality of lectures by reflecting on past experience on lectures and contents as an instructor. But the requirement of reinforcing the educational capacity of professors is still different from ”expertise in education” that they have delved in. Many professors at our school are focused on creative art education, and it might be a burden to ask them for a high level of expertise in education. Therefore, CTL was established in many universities to inspire passion for education in professors and spur them into developing outstanding and customized lecture styles on themselves. Micro-teaching is one such professor support programs that helps professors enhance their expertise in education and find efficient way of lecturing.
