서울예술대학교, 2025학년도 외국인 유학생 간담회 개최

- 유학생들의 실질적인 요구를 반영한 맞춤형 지원 방안 제공

 서울예술대학교(총장 유태균)는 오는 3월 7일(금) 오후 4시, 예술정보센터 하이퍼스페이스룸에서 ‘2025학년도 외국인 유학생 간담회’를 개최했다. 이번 간담회는 서울예대에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생들의 원활한 학업 및 생활 적응을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.

 이번 행사는 서울예대의 중장기 발전계획 ‘VISION 2025+’의 실행과제 중 하나인 외국인 유학생 유치 확대의 일환으로 기획되었으며, 유학생들의 다양한 의견을 청취하고 지원 프로그램을 소개했다.

 간담회에서는 ▲외국인 유학생 지원 프로그램 안내 ▲학교생활 및 학사 제도 설명 ▲비자 관련 정보 제공 등의 내용이 다뤄지며, 유학생들의 실질적인 요구를 반영한 맞춤형 지원 방안 제공했다.

 서울예대는 유학생들의 안정적인 정착을 돕기 위해 ‘Life in SeoulArts’ 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 해당 프로그램은 생활 및 학습 지원을 포함하며, 문화 체험 활동, 버디 프로그램, 멘토링 프로그램 등을 통해 외국인 학생들의 학교 적응을 돕고 있다. 또한, 성적 우수 유학생을 위한 장학금 제도 및 체류 관련 행정 지원도 제공하고 있다.

 국제교류팀 관계자는 “이번 간담회는 유학생들이 서울예대에서 보다 만족스러운 학업과 생활을 할 수 있도록 실질적인 지원을 강화하는 자리”라며 “앞으로도 유학생들과의 지속적인 소통을 통해 더 나은 교육 환경을 제공할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

 한편, 서울예술대학교는 글로벌 예술 인재 양성을 목표로 다양한 국제 교류 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 예술교육의 세계화를 위해 지속적으로 노력하고 있다.

SeoulArts Global Student Orientation 2025

- Providing Practical Supports for International Students’ Success

 Seoul Institute of the Arts (SeoulArts) organized an Orientation Meeting on March 7th at the Arts Information Center. The event, part of the long-term development plan VISION 2025+, aims to attract more international students. It was designed to help those currently enrolled at SeoulArts adjust academically and personally, easing their transition to life in Korea.

 The meeting covered topics such as support programs for international students and navigating Korean academic and social life. It also provided an opportunity for students to share their opinions and learn about available support programs.

 A representative from the External Relations Department remarked, "This meeting was an opportunity to strengthen practical support, ensuring that international students have a more fulfilling academic experience at SeoulArts.” He added, "Our goal is to enhance the academic experience for international students by fostering ongoing communication and support.”

 Seoul Institute of the Arts runs the "Life at SeoulArts” program to help international students smoothly settle in and adapt to both Korean academic and social life. The program offers cultural experiences, buddy and mentoring programs, and administrative support.

 In addition, SeoulArts is actively engaged in various international exchange programs, with the goal of nurturing global artistic talent and furthering the globalization of arts education. The Institution also offers scholarships to outstanding international students to support their academic journey.
